2026 Road construction information
Orchid Dr & all extensions
Paving will begin Monday, July 13, 2026 on Orchid Dr extensions. Paving will start with the extensions to the right first and then the left extensions with Orchid Dr being the last to be paved.
Ridge Rd
Ridge Rd will begin paving on July 14, 2026. This road will not be closed during construction.
Chicago Dr Culvert
Chicago Dr culvert is being replaced July 10, 2026.
Mulberry Dr Culvert
Mulberry Dr will be closed on Monday, July 13, 2026 from Hawthorne Rd to Wisteria Rd to replace a culvert.
N Bloomfield Rd
Dates have not yet been determined for paving N Bloomfield Rd from North Rd to Cortona Ln.
Lyons Rd
Dates have not yet been determined for paving Lyons Rd.
The Village and Town is made up of 83.96 miles.
The Highway Department is responsible for the routine maintenance and repair of the Village and Town owned pavements and surface infrastructure within the street right-of-way, with the exception of those maintained by the County or State. The Department has responsibility for the following:
- Managing the construction of roads projects.
- Maintaining a system of records and maps.
- Coordinating with other public utilities operating within our street right-of-way.
- Snow and ice control
- Mowing of municipal owned land
- Maintenance of traffic signs
